Anyone else find it odd that Playstation/PolyDig and Porsche have an advertising agreement for Gran Turismo, yet the cars are not in the actual game due to the EA licensing agreement?
Oh well, here’s the new Porsche video....

Well actually the Gran Turismo sticker is on every car competing in VLN/GT3.

GT sponsor the championship so they’re on all the cars. That said given GT Sport’s new Motorsport focus you would think Sony would put up the money and get them in the game.

Thanks! Didn’t realize they sponsored all the cars in the series.

Makes me wonder if Porsche acknowledges that Need for Speed hasn’t been relevant in years yet they still have an exclusive contract. Porsches in all video games would be a win-win, at least for consumers. Either that or EA needs to finally step their fucking game up and make a new NFS Porsche Unleashed.

Bitch git on mah levl.
Actual answer: Because Gran Turismo sponsors the race, not the drivers and teams. It’s why Glickenhaus’ SCG003 had a GT banner in N24 despite Assetto Corsa getting first dibs on the car for scanning. Or is it the other way around?
